Perranporth

Located in the Carrick district of Cornwall on the north coast, Perranporth is a popular summer tourist destination six miles southwest of Newquay. With the long sandy beach that stretches for over 2 miles up to Ligger Point and the Atlantic Ocean facing coast, Perranporth is one of the most popular surfing destinations in England. The beach is backed up by large sand dunes and towering cliffs, spectacular views are on offer by venturing away from the town and along the coastal path. The Millenium Sundial which has been built at Droskyn Point has been set to Cornish time, 20 minutes ahead of GMT.
